Terms of Use

These terms describe the baseline rules for using PayChainHQ. Enterprise agreements, order forms, or jurisdiction-specific addenda may supplement these terms where applicable. By accessing the Service on behalf of a business, you agree to these terms for that business.

Last updated March 21, 2026Applies to public site, dashboard, API, and hosted invoice surfaces

Eligibility and authority

You may use PayChainHQ only if you are at least 18 years old, are authorized to act on behalf of a business or organization, and can legally enter into a binding agreement.

The Service is intended for business and commercial use only. It is not offered for personal, family, or household use.

Business accounts and security

  • You are responsible for the confidentiality of account credentials, API keys, webhook secrets, recovery codes, and team permissions.
  • You are responsible for activity carried out through your accounts, users, API credentials, and dashboard sessions.
  • We may require multi-factor authentication, re-verification, or other security checks before allowing access or sensitive actions.

Service scope and environments

  • PayChainHQ provides business-facing payment tooling, including invoice creation, hosted invoice pages, webhook delivery, treasury workflows, billing, reporting, API access, and team management.
  • Sandbox and live environments are distinct operational planes. Access to live functionality may require onboarding review, approval, and additional controls.
  • We may add, modify, remove, delay, or suspend features as part of normal product development, maintenance, security response, or legal compliance.

KYC, compliance, and ongoing monitoring

Access to parts of the Service, including live functionality, may depend on business verification, KYC or KYB review, sanctions screening, fraud review, source-of-funds review, and other compliance checks.

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information, respond to reasonable follow-up requests, and cooperate with ongoing monitoring and review. We may delay, restrict, or deny access where required to comply with law or manage risk.

Fees, billing, settlement timing, and holds

Sandbox businesses start on Free by default unless a separate agreement states otherwise. Paid subscription upgrades activate only after the corresponding billing invoice is paid.

If a paid subscription is not renewed by the end of the applicable grace period, the account may revert to Free under the then-current billing policy.

Network fees, gas costs, and external blockchain costs remain pass-through unless expressly included in a separate commercial agreement.

Settlement timing depends on confirmations, chain conditions, treasury workflows, internal controls, third-party service availability, and any required fraud, sanctions, or compliance review. We may apply delays or holds where necessary.

Wallet, treasury, and custody boundaries

PayChainHQ provides software and infrastructure to help businesses receive, monitor, and operationalize crypto payments. We do not control underlying blockchains, payer wallets, or all third-party wallet, signing, node, or custody providers used in connection with the Service.

Blockchain transactions can be delayed, reversed by reorg conditions, or become operationally irreversible depending on the network. You are responsible for assessing whether the Service is suitable for your treasury, accounting, tax, legal, and operational needs.

Prohibited activity, sanctions, and AML

  • Do not use PayChainHQ for unlawful activity, sanctions evasion, fraud, deceptive conduct, or prohibited goods and services.
  • Do not use the Service in a way that supports money laundering, terrorist financing, proliferation financing, stolen funds, or other prohibited financial activity.
  • Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, environment restrictions, billing controls, approval flows, monitoring systems, or security checks.
  • You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with laws applicable to your business, counterparties, customers, and jurisdictions.

Blockchain and network risk

Blockchain networks are operated by third parties and may experience congestion, reorgs, pricing volatility, failed transactions, unexpected fees, or wallet compatibility issues.

PayChainHQ does not control underlying blockchains, wallet software used by payers, or third-party node, pricing, email, cloud, or signing providers.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend, limit, terminate, or condition access where required to protect the platform, comply with law, investigate abuse, address risk, or enforce these terms.

You may stop using the Service at any time, but some records, logs, and financial or compliance data may remain subject to retention, audit, reconciliation, or legal-hold obligations.

Intellectual property and permitted use

PayChainHQ and its associated software, branding, documentation, and service interfaces remain the property of PayChainHQ and its licensors.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the Service in accordance with these terms. You may not resell, misuse, reverse engineer, or attempt to interfere with the Service except as permitted by law.

Disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnity

Except as expressly stated in a separate agreement, the Service is provided on an as-available basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, uninterrupted blockchain connectivity, price availability, or error-free third-party integrations.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PayChainHQ is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from use of the Service. You agree to indemnify PayChainHQ for claims arising from your business, your transactions, your data, or your violation of law or these terms.

Governing law and disputes

These public terms are intended to be supplemented by any applicable order form, enterprise agreement, or jurisdiction-specific addendum. Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, disputes will be handled under the governing law and venue specified in your commercial agreement or onboarding documents.

Before final publication, this section should be reviewed by counsel and updated with your final governing-law and venue language.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the product and legal requirements evolve. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms, subject to any additional contractual requirements that apply to your account.
